Rocco from Fashion News Live was on “RuPaul’s Drag Race” (Rupaul s Drag Race season 3) premiere and he caught Adam and made with him a little talk about how he recovered from the tour. They also talk about how Adam himself in decisions about songs, performances or video is involved.
R: Let me ask you first what you are wearing today on Rupaul s Drag Race season 3.
A: Um, there is a drag queen here in Los Angeles … she is a legend, but now is hiding … and that is one of their discarded clothes.
R: On what have you been working so far? The Grammys are coming soon …
A: I’ve really tried to relax myself and just relax. I’ve worked really hard last year and I will work for the next few months on my next album and the Grammy’s coming closer and I am nominated, which is a great honor. I moved to a new home… So, I just try to live my life.
R: How are you involved in recording process? If you sit together … do you have your hands in the whole process?
A: It’s actually a surprising amount in which I am involved. I think many people think that you are from a show like American Idol and you’ll get thrown into a machine and everything is decided for you. I think this may be the case if’re very passive and I’m not really passive, I am very dominant and I am happy to participate in the creative process and they were impressed by it. I was asked to make what I want and it was the work of a great team. I would not feel comfortable if we were pushed around me and I would say, what to do.
